  7. Hello! My name is Natalie Graumann. I taught kindergarten for 15+ years and for the past two years I have been teaching as a part time K-2 Literacy Aide. I went part time for family/work life balance. I have appreciated the flexibility that this part time position offers. I am taking this class for my certificate renewal, on the in case that I decide to go back to full time teaching. I also want to stay current on teaching trends. This book study caught my attention with the 'taking care of those around us' as that is a big part of why I went part time too, to be a support for those in my personal and professional life.

  8. How is everyone doing, My name is Lisa Brumbaugh. I have been in the Special Education field for 26 years. I have already read the 1st chapter before I am writing about myself. It has hit home for me. The reason I became a special education teacher to give student with the the opportunity to meet their highest potential. The 1st chapter hit home with me. Kids with needs are not always born with a struggles, but what has been dealt to them. I believe the more we teach them to believe in themselves the higher the chance the brain can rewire for the good.
